Iván Freixer is a multi-talented professional. He holds a degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Taxation from the University of Buenos Aires. He has served as an advisor at Estudio Freixer for several years, previously worked as an accounting assistant and tax senior, and currently manages various consulting projects. He is also a social media figure, with more than 344,000 followers as of October 2025 and nearly 10 million total “likes” across his accounts.
In an interview, Freixer revealed that he began posting videos during the pandemic. “I spent a lot of time at home and made videos to clear my mind, to entertain myself,” he said. What began as simple entertainment gradually became more professional, and today he publishes diverse content for his followers. He also manages a YouTube channel where he uploads humorous content.
“At first I made 20-minute videos, and now a single video takes an hour and a half of preparation,” Freixer explained. What began as a game eventually became something more meaningful. The accounting professional emphasized that the Covid-19 lockdown gave him an opportunity to create humorous content online.
“Accountant and influencer” is how Iván Freixer is presented in interviews and on the shows he attends. His Instagram account does not use his real name; instead, he goes by “Fuialapelota,” a profile with 19,800 followers that includes links to his TikTok and Twitch accounts, where he also streams.
A few years ago, Freixer entered the cryptocurrency world with the support of Binance and became a crypto-influencer. He developed an effective method for teaching concepts online through humor. In another interview with Binance Latin America, he mentioned that several universities have hired him to give talks.
Freixer balances two very different worlds that nonetheless intersect. Through TikTok, he uses humor to address accounting topics such as taxes or politicians’ actions. His videos have been picked up by outlets like La Nación+, América and Radio Mitre. He even created a dedicated Instagram highlight to showcase his media appearances.
Humor, taxes and accounting: Freixer’s signature
When Iván Freixer began making videos, he recalled his own experience as a student and realized that his style needed to be humor-driven to explain ideas or concepts effectively on social media. One of his most popular characters is “Contador Achával,” which brought a wave of new clients from the trading and cryptocurrency world.
The crypto space marked a turning point for Freixer. Two years ago he posted a video explaining the rules and regulations for declaring cryptocurrency holdings, using his characteristic humor. The video was widely successful, and Freixer said he was “called from everywhere” afterward.
This comedic approach helps viewers “understand the topic and stay watching the video.” As a content creator and social media influencer, Freixer adapted his material toward accounting and taxation, always keeping the humorous tone that sets him apart.
Why did Iván Freixer study Business Administration?
Freixer explained that he struggled to choose a career at age 17. In another conversation with Binance, he admitted that he originally wanted to be a “sports journalist,” but that idea was dismissed by his father. Life eventually led him to study Business Administration, Accounting and Taxation at the University of Buenos Aires from 2005 to 2010.
He also compared past and present generations, highlighting how younger people today grow up in a more technologically modern environment. Although business administration was not his first choice, his family convinced him that he needed to pursue a degree to navigate the country’s economic realities.
Iván also spoke about financial education and the role of family support today. He compared generations and the search for professional profiles, focusing not only on the most experienced but also on those who adapt to individual circumstances.
Estudio Freixer
With more than 14 years in the field, the firm offers tax, administrative and accounting advisory services, managing operations for companies, SMEs and multinational organizations. “Administration and finance” and “social security” are two key areas within the firm’s consulting services.
Since 2023, Iván Freixer has been an autonomous partner in the company. He maintains the same independence on social media, where he uses his videos to teach and entertain. His content went viral during the pandemic, and since then he has balanced two seemingly opposite worlds that, in his case, intersect naturally.
